> The Xtt-96 microtube thawing station is a compact, stand-alone instrument designed to speed up the defrost time of chilled microtubes. Contents are defrosted by forcing air, at room temperature, over the frozen microtubes.
> Gentle, but faster, tube thawing. Direct heat is not used minimising the risk of content damage caused by temperature increase.
> This compact design is able to defrost a rack of up to 96 tubes at one time by simply placing the rack on the top plate. Compatible with most 96 format microtubes.
> As a guide, a typical frozen sample of DI water will take approximately 20 minutes to defrost to an ambient temperature of 20oC. The Xtt-96 does not require time to warm-up.
> Low power consumption, runs off low voltage input from a mains adaptor.
