The Xtt-96 microtube thawing station is a stand alone instrument designed to reduce the defrost time of chilled microtubes.
Gentle, but faster, tube thawing Contents are defrosted by forcing air, at room temperature, over the frozen microtubes. The risk of sample damage is minimised as direct heat is not applied.
A typical frozen sample of DI water will defrost to an ambient temperature of 20oC in approx. 20 minutes and the thawing station doe not require warm-up time.
Compatible with most racked tubes This compact design is able to defrost 96 racked tubes simultaneously, simply place the rack on the top plate.
