Xdc-96pro high speed 96 decapper/ recapper

> The Xdc-96pro is a compact, high speed, whole rack tube decapper that can automatically remove and dispose of the caps from a full 96 tube rack in less than 10 seconds. This unit can be used as a stand alone system, using the simple to use membrane key pad, or can easily be integrated into automation systems using the RS232 or Windows^® driver provided.

> Eliminates the need to manually remove caps from a wide variety of 0.5ml, 0.75ml, and 1.4ml septum sealed tubes. Dramatically improves productivity and increases the choice of liquid handling systems by eliminating the need for septum piercing.

> After decapping, the Xdc-96pro can either dispose the caps or recap the same caps onto the same tubes. Manual recapping after tubes have been sampled is no longer required.

> Compatible with all coded tube racks and capping products supplied by Micronic^TM, and coded and non-coded TrakMate^TM tubes from Matrix Technologies^TM.

> A purge option is available. A metered dose of argon can be delivered after decapping to provide an inert atmosphere blanket to protect the sample during open tube processing. In addition, either nitrogen or argon can be delivered just before recapping to create an inert atmosphere within the tube prior to storage.

The purge is enabled and optimised using PC-based software> Settings are then saved so that the Xdc-96pro can be used without PC involvement.

> The Xdc-96pro requires only a mains power source for operation.
