New XTR-96MkII CRYO launched. 2D-code reader for cryo tubes straight from storage
Many users of 2D-coded tubes stored at -80degC, or gas phase liquid nitrogen, have experienced difficulties when reading tubes straight from storage, the design of the XTR-96MkII CRYO rack reader prevents the build up of frost and condensation on the glass scanning window to alleviate these issues.
Customer testing has shown that the XTR-96MkII CRYO can read more than 40 racks, straight from -80degC storage, without interuption or inaccuracies.
To complement this new reader FluidX have also introduced cryo versions of our single tube readers the XTR-1 and XTR-1 Elite, both of which are capable of reading more than 50 tubes sequentially direct from gas phase liquid nitrogen storage.
