The X-Seal Manual Adhesive Sealer is compatible with all standard 96, 384 and 1536-format microplates and blocks.
Simple and quick operation, seals a plate within 4 seconds
To operate simply slide a plate into the left side of the sealer which then starts automatically. The plate is pulled through without further assistance and is sealed in under 5 seconds. A roller mechanism is used to apply constant pressure ensuring a more uniform seal than compression plate-based systems.
Prevent heat damage to samples and plates
Adhesive seals are widely used for short and long-term sample storage, thermal cycling and assay incubation. It is the preferred sealing method for applications where plates must be sealed and accessed multiple times as heat damage to well chimneys is avoided.
Even small temperature fluctuations are avoided making this sealer suitable for applications such as protein crystallography and bacterial/cell culture growth.

FluidX offer a wide range of adhesive seals for use with the X-Seal Manual Adhesive Sealer including peelable, pierceable, optically clear and non-sticky pressure-sensitive seals.
All demonstrate good integrity at low and high temperatures (suitable for temperatures as low as -80oC and chemical resistance including DMSO.
