The X-seal Automated Thermal Sealer is a fast and compact thermal sealer for reliable sealing of 96 and 384-well plates and blocks suitable for use as a stand-alone benchtop unit or integrated into larger robotic systems.

Plates of differing heights can be sealed without the need for adaptors. The X-seal Automated Thermal Sealer will seal up to 10 plates per minute.
Seal time and temperature are specified using the control box included so that an even seal is achieved with differing seal and plate types. A footswitch enables hands-free operation.
The RS232 port and ASCII programming parameters allow the X-seal Automated Thermal Sealer to be easily integrated into automated systems.

Sealing and cutting is only performed once the external door is securely closed. Sensors detect the seal presence and check that the heat and pressure levels are sufficient for faultless sealing.
Easy to use.
The seal rolls are top-loaded with easy access for changeover. No waste produced.
To use simply place the plate on the holder at the front of the unit. The plate is automatically pulled inside the sealer, sealed, and then returned on the holder to the original position.
