Additional sample protection
The Ad-192 applies a blanket of argon to the top of racked storage tubes prior to capping or sealing, protecting samples from the detrimental actions of humidity and oxygen.
Two needle assemblies, each consisting of 96 individual stainless steel needles, evenly distribute argon gas into the top of the tube racks.
User control and protection
The amount of time for argon dispensing is preset by the user. Once the tubes are raised and locked in place the argon is then dispensed automatically.
Excess argon is captured by a vacuum source connected to the bottom of the dispenser.
The vacuum is also activated automatically and continues after the argon has been discontinued for added safety. The user is able to pre-programme the amount of time the vacuum is required.
Tube compatibility
Suitable for use with 1.4ml and 0.5ml storage tubes which are easily raised and locked at the desired height using a manual elevator.
